Today I rehearsed with Maddie and Mollie to “Someone like you”
We discussed about playing “Rolling
in the deep and ran through it without the keyboard.
I practised the chords when
everyone left the room I need to practice this alongside listening to this to
get the timings correct. I think this could sound really good once pieced
together however I would prefer to do the drums if possible.
Things that went well…
We rehearsed with Molly on guitar and she did an upper strum
that sounded much better.
Things to improve on…
I missed a few keys I feel this is due to getting use to new
vocals.
We plugged the keyboard into the amp and this had a ring to
it but is best to do this so Maddie can hear me playing.
Further progress…
To continue practising rolling in the deep on both keyboard
and drums.
We need to discuss the pre-chorus for timings for when the
vocals come in as the chorus timing is fine. Possible adding count timing then
come in could work for this. When I rehearsed with Aimee she watched me play
and came in when ready this would be great to do with Maddie.
